West Ham vs Tottenham Hotspur
Jose is back. He is taking charge of a talented, if aging squad. Spurs have been underperforming for most of 2019. They are struggling to pick up points away from home, and their points total for the calendar year would have them battling relegation. Still, on their day, they are a match for any team. Mourhino has had a break and time to reflect on his disastrous reign at Manchester Utd. However, there is no doubt that he is a winner- he has won trophies everywhere he has been. Don’t be surprised if Spurs win one of the cup competitions this year.
On the other hand, West Ham have had a very disappointing start to a season that began with such high expectations. They have a good manager, and they could still turn it around, but any revival will have to wait until after Saturday.

Bournemouth vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Bournemouth bore me. They have a good manager, and they try to play an attractive brand of football, but they are just making up the numbers. I don’t dislike them. I just don’t care. Wolves are a club with a history and are going places.

Arsenal vs Southampton
Two teams in dire need of a positive result. I expected more from both of these teams this season. Southampton are in real danger of going down. Arsenal lack both character and direction; however, they will have too much firepower up front to lose this game.

Brighton vs Leicester City
Brighton have done well so far this season. They look like they have a goal in them and will try to but it up to superior teams. However, Leicester have been a revelation this season. Brendan Rodgers men are both free-scoring going forward and miserly when it comes to giving goals away at the back. At the moment, it looks like they will be in the title race.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool
Palace have a reputation of being a bogey team for Liverpool. Way back in the 1990 season, Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 9-0 at Anfield but were then stunned in the FA cup semi-final when Palace came from behind to win 4-3. Then there was the 3-3 draw after Liverpool had been 3-0 up and looking to improve their goal difference as they chased Man City for the title. Selhurst Park can be an intimidating atmosphere, particularly if the home side have something to play for in the closing stages. However, Liverpool are an exceptional side, and the only way they won’t win this game is if the players are suffering from all the travel they had to do over the international break.

Everton vs Norwich City
Everton are having an Everton season. Once again, they are flattering to deceive. They are capable of causing an upset or two this season but will finish in the bottom half. Norwich are going down and will leave Goodison empty-handed.

Watford vs Burnley
Watford have tightened things up at the back and are looking to climb out of the relegation zone. Burnley will be safe this season because they will pick up points in away games like this. Both sides will be happy with the draw.

Manchester City vs Chelsea
This is a massive game. A Chelsea win will announce them as genuine title contenders while a City defeat could be fatal to their chances of catching Liverpool. In what promises to be a great game of open attacking football, I expect City to have too much class for Lampard’s young pretenders.

Sheffield Utd vs Manchester Utd
What a start to the season Sheffield Utd have made. Their fans are so passionate and generate a fantastic atmosphere. They will relish having Man Utd coming to their town. Man Utd are set up to play counter-attacking football and are more likely to do well against the bigger teams. This game could go any way, and the first goal could be crucial in determining the result.

Aston Villa vs Newcastle Utd
Against all the odds, Bruce has done a very good job with the Magpies so far this season. Villa have done ok so far too. However, both of these teams will be concerned about relegation until they are officially safe. Both will take a point.
